These Notes omit this and explain this to be the traditional way to dance the North Kerry Set Figure 3. So, when you dance in Ireland, especially Kerry - no house around. Around here -- do dance the house around. However, it should also be noted that dancers in Delaware and Washington, DC tend to omit the house around.)
